Addressing the Public
Whenever you get a chance to speak in front of many people, you have to remember to just be yourself and not to try and be somebody else, especially someone the crowd or the audience can not identify with. A good speaker is sensitive to his or her addressees. Another thing to remember whenever you are talking to a lot of people is that you are bound to make some mistake and this is very normal. People do commit mistakes and it is all right, as long as you try and get your facts straight.
Lastly try not to write a script because you will just end up reading it or you would sound very monotonous, limit your pauses but try not to speak fast as well and to finish just always think positive and have fun.
