Red Ribbon Theme

Each year, we create a Red Ribbon theme for use in our local community.  This year's theme is "SPEAK OUT: Most Students Choose Not To Drink Alcohol or To Use Other Drugs!"

Since our website is used by school site coordinators all over the United States, we wanted to remind you that your community may be using a different theme.

To find out the theme in your community, you might want to check with your school district's Title IV Safe & Drug Free Schools Coordinator (nearly every school district has one - call your district office to find out if you do and who that person is.)

You may also want to visit the National Family Partnership's website to see what their theme is for the year.

Finally, you are very welcome to use our theme and our artwork as well as any of the themes/artwork we have used in the past. Or, you may want to create your own theme and artwork.

2007 Red Ribbon Theme: "SPEAK OUT: Most Students Choose Not To Drink Alcohol or To Use Other Drugs!" continues our campaign designed to promote the fact that most students abstain from alcohol, tobacco and other drugs.  Read more about Social Norms theory and how this approach can make a difference in your community.
